Just being the cheapest supplier is not enough in our industry: quality and safety are also of great importance. We take this very seriously.
We use Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) with our suppliers to improve quality management. This is a formalized process in which we coordinate different activities with our suppliers and monitor their success based on a “traffic light” system. This allows us to minimize turnaround times and make our planning more flexible.
To maintain quality throughout, we involve our suppliers right at the start of product development. Our development, quality, and purchasing departments are in constant contact with you to exchange information. Together, we will determine the features required for outsourced parts, how they’ll work, and how they’ll be assembled into our products. By working together like this, we reach the best solutions.
