More than just ideas

Innovation – the successful development of ideas – ensures our future. We consistently focus our innovation and our processes on our customers’ needs. But we also evaluate our product ideas based on defined target requirements and the product's impact on enhancing our company’s value.

There are many challenges that we must meet and on which we focus our innovation efforts:

  • Climate change combined with increased environmental awareness
  • Urbanization and demographic change

The most important trends within the automotive industry are the increased demand for environmentally friendly transportation, safety, and convenience, as well as the demand for vehicles that are connected to the outer world. Therefore, the focal point for our innovations is the reduction of emissions to zero, avoiding and preventing defects and accidents, as well as increased functionality of our products.

In the packaging segment, our future focal point is geared toward intelligent additional functions, e.g. color change in case of a temperature change or as a shelf life indicator and electronic identification systems (RFID).

Saving time, material, costs, and resources during development, production, and utilization of our products is also in the fore of successful distribution.
